Sorbum Group actively participates in community activities - Sportive. Friendly. Motivated.
Sorbum Group with Trakai Child Care Home are already sharing longstanding friendship. This time we participated in the basketball tournament 3x3, which was organized by Trakai Child Care Home. "Wolves“ team, which is supported by Sorbum Group, and two teams consisting of BSMS staff as "Half-dead seal" and "Crazy Beaver“ team. This adventurous event attended 13 teams from various cities and towns and all the three teams did quite well. The least succeeded, perhaps the most ambitious, team "Wolves", which very sincere and long trained for this tournament. Unfortunately, the „Wolves'“ team lost the persistant fight, just one point difference to the team "Non Stop", who played in the finals. Likewise failed and a young, newly organized team "Mad Beaver", which was drawn towards a winning by the team leader Donatas Janušauskis. Donatas titanic efforts were not sufficient to defeat team "Brothers", which became the tournament's winner. The best of the three teams came out „Half-dead Seals“, led by team leader Rimvydas Poškaitis and skillfully conducted by team captain Robertas Jablonskis, who hard fought Small finals for third place. But once again failed to ours, clearly level of beer in the bellies hampered the team „hard-working bee“ Kestutis Vajėga, tenacious Rimvydas Šalna and unstoppable Robertas Jablonskis, who ran out of gunpowder and the last possible title went to the opponents. Long bitter tears that night passed Eitvydas Lubys, both BSMS teams ideological leader and the names author, on these results, but there is nothing to do: sport is sport. Regardless the results, all the people involved in the event, some even came specially from Kaunas with the whole family, were satisfied with the event, they left with great emotions and full of pleasant memories. |
